Project Director - Renewable Energy Projects (Open to Expats)

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for large scale renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and vision.
  • Coordinate and manage all related stakeholders in the entire project.
  • Create and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor and report project progress, identify potential challenges and issues, and implement mitigation action steps to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Oversee all activities, including contract negotiations, vendor selection, and supplier management.
  • Create a project reporting format, including dashboards, and oversee monthly reports, ensuring inputs from all levels of project management.
Profile

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale energy projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in utility-scale projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver utility-scale projects.
  • Oversee technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and maximize performance outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy industry, entire project development, construction and operations.
  • Good communication skills in English.
