About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Fundraising & Partnership Manager (Volunteer) to drive sponsorship and partnership efforts for the STEAMese Festival 2025—a flagship event co-organized with UNICEF Vietnam, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), and the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of fundraising, relationship management, and event success. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with sponsors, corporate partners, and philanthropic donors who share our vision of empowering Vietnam’s next generation of innovators.

You will work closely with the Leadership, Communications, and Operations teams to design fundraising strategies, craft partnership proposals, and ensure sponsor deliverables are met. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in scaling one of Vietnam’s largest AI & STEAM education events, while working with leading global and national partners.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a fundraising and sponsorship strategy tailored to the STEAMese Festival 2025.
  • Identify and research potential corporate sponsors, foundations, embassies, and individual donors.
  • Draft and deliver compelling proposals, pitch decks, and presentations to potential funders.

Partnership Development & Stewardship

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors and partners, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Ensure timely delivery of sponsor benefits, visibility, and branding in festival communications and onsite activations.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team on joint PR, media, and marketing opportunities with partners.

Collaboration & Event Support

  • Work with festival leads (program, logistics, guest relations, etc.) to integrate partner contributions into festival activities.
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure accurate tracking of sponsorship agreements and benefits delivery.
  • Provide onsite support during the festival to ensure sponsor and partner engagement is seamless.

Post-Festival Engagement

  • Gather sponsor/partner feedback and prepare post-event impact reports.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships for future collaborations beyond the festival.

Qualifications

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, partnership management, business development, or CSR/corporate relations.
  • Prior experience in large-scale events, education initiatives, or non-profits is highly desirable.

Skills & Mindset

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).
  • Strategic thinker with strong proposal writing and pitching abilities.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, all-hands-on-deck environment.
  • Passionate about education, innovation, and making a national impact.
