We are looking for a Marketing & Events intern to assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns and events that promote the company's brand, products, and services. This role offers hands-on experience in both marketing and event coordination, providing valuable exposure to various aspects of the industry. You will be working with an experienced startup-minded team and directly under both the Business Development & Marketing team of Sunway XFarms. The best of both worlds – you will be part of a successful conglomerate entity, while enjoying the perks and adrenaline of being in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and email.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
- Help create engaging and relevant content for marketing materials, including presentation decks, blog posts, social media posts, and website updates.
Events:
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including workshops, promotional booths at exhibitions, farmer's markets, pharmacies and retail supermarkets etc.
- Assist in developing event concepts, themes, creative customer engagement activities and agendas that align with the company’s marketing objectives and brand identity.
- In-charge of event setup, execution, teardown and manage event logistics, including vendor registration, coordination with partners, sales record and budget management.
- Collect and analyze feedback from events to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
