Job Description

  • Responsible for timely result of APAC Pollen Projects- Pollen Quantification and Pollen Viability. Take charge of all laboratories works & SPR seeds, materials and inputs inventories monitoring. Support in time data consolidation for Corn & Rice.
  • Extends support for processing technology projects whenever needed.
  • Deliver results for Pollen Quantification and Pollen Viability for Corn & Rice crops
  • Ensures all inventories (inputs, seeds, office and laboratory supplies, etc…) are well updated and managed
  • Timely consolidation of data coming from fields as per schedule
  • Monitor Quality testing’s and data results as per schedule
  • Ensures correct seed preparations and packing for each planting schedules as per trial plans
  • Ensures all laboratory equipment’s are in good condition, preventive maintenance are on tract, supplies and materials are readily available and other consumables are within range before expirations
  • Supports team’s procurement requirements.
  • Extends field works most specially during plantings, data gathering, pollen sampling, harvesting etc..
  • Take lead on the operations of Research dryers and all laboratory equipment’s with timely results and recommendation
  • Ensure right PPE’s to be worn inside the laboratory. Proper disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals
  • Maintain over-all sanitation and HSE within the laboratory
  • Leads the data management and consolidation to SPIRIT. Supporting data analysis by providing statistical analysis for all the trials internally and within seeds operation.
  • Good communication and link across stakeholders (SD, SO, and FO).
  • Provide accurate data results based on field trials.
  • Provide timely and accurate Pollen project results
Profile

Qualifications

  • Graduated Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/ Engineering
  • Seed production, Laboratory, physiology and technology knowledge.
  • Experiences to work involving Corn and Rice are preference.
  • Experimental design and statistical analysis skill.
  • At least 0-3 years experiences for corn production, corn research and/or experiment trial management.
  • Data interpretation and presentation skill.
