Position Summary

The Global Institute (GI) is an initiative of Teach For All, and our vision is that one day, all children will have the education, support, and opportunity to shape a better future for themselves and all of us. The purpose of the GI is to foster global learning among people within and beyond the Teach For All network who are committed to reshaping education. It contributes to learning and leadership development, generating insights, evidence, tools, and resources that accelerate progress toward this vision.

We are seeking a Global Institute Communications Manager to lead the implementation of GI's communications strategy - managing platforms such as the website, newsletter, resource portal, and social media - and ensuring high-quality content that strengthens storytelling, visibility, and engagement.

The Global Institute Communications Manager will amplify GI's presence, identity, and narrative through social media, digital platforms, newsletters, and thought-leadership initiatives.

This role suits a strong communicator and project manager who thrives in start-up environments, enjoys content creation, and brings clarity, creativity, and cohesion to complex ideas.

  • Ensure timely uploading, updating, and quality control of all published content
  • Ensure user-friendly and high-quality resources are consistently maintained and aligned with the Global Institute's evolving communications goals across both platforms

Newsletter & LinkedIn

  • Own the end-to-end development of a regular GI newsletter: collate inputs from content teams, draft and edit content, coordinate design, and manage distribution
  • Develop and manage a LinkedIn content calendar for the Global Institute, coordinating with GI teams and Teach For All's Communications team to ensure consistent, high-quality posting
  • Create and adapt content (e.g., summaries, visuals, graphics, campaign highlights) for LinkedIn and other key channels to enhance GI's visibility

Others

  • Support communications for strategic campaigns and events, including the Better Future Conversations series
  • Explore/support additional channels in future

Editorial Oversight and Quality Control (30%)

  • Work closely with the GI content team to review, edit, and quality-check resources before publication
  • Ensure GI content across platforms (resource portal, newsletters, reports, campaigns) meets high editorial standards for clarity, accessibility, tone, and visual coherence
  • Support the creation of compelling marketing materials for partners, funders, and the broader ecosystem in alignment with brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with the Teach For All communications team to develop Global Institute's messaging while ensuring alignment with Teach For All's overall brand and messaging.
  • Package and adapt content into audience-appropriate formats (e.g., briefs, summaries, slide decks, social-ready formats)

Lead Communications Implementation (30%)

  • Develop and manage the execution of the GI's communications roadmap—including digital presence, brand positioning, newsletters, and storytelling campaigns
  • Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity across GI materials and channels, while contributing to the evolution of GI's narrative and style, at the same time ensuring alignment and consistency with Teach For All
  • Establish communications tools, templates, and systems to support scalable workflows and aligned content production
