Role Purpose
Building meaningful partnerships within the corporate and foundation portfolio to maximise fundraising for Teach For Malaysia that allows us to continue doing the work that we do to champion quality education. Have the confidence and interpersonal skills to represent TFM at external networking events to gather leads and contacts.
Principal Accountabilities
- Pursue all funding avenues to raise funds for the organisation
- Conduct landscape analysis research to generate new leads for donor engagement and grant opportunities
- Engage and connect with partners and pursue prospects by leveraging own networks or the broader TFM movement.
- Develop proposals, grant applications and cultivate donor leads to ensure a healthy fundraising pipeline
- Build and maintain the donor relationships under the corporate and foundation portfolio, including the day-to-day management of the partner stewardship processes (includes management of CRM system, fundraising log, receipting, etc)
- Plan and coordinate partner engagement opportunities such as TFM Week
- Collaborate with TFM’s programmatic teams to ensure reporting milestones are met
- Coordinate with MEL/RDI team in preparing impact reports for partners to highlight TFM’s collective impact
- Manage cadence for internal team meetings
- Manage and support interns so they have a positive internship experience
