We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to plan, manage, and execute demand generation initiatives across inbound and outbound sales channels. The main responsibilities of this role include sourcing commercial leads, implementing outreach campaigns, managing external vendors in executing lead generation, and qualifying inbound sales leads. The candidate will also manage day to day relationships with external vendors who conduct sales development activities on behalf of Terrascope. This role will report into the Head of Partnerships & Sales Development. 

In this role you will:

  • Source new leads and business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline for Terrascope products & services
  • Manage external agencies in executing inbound and outbound demand generation activities
  • Research contacts and companies, develop effective sales messaging, and conduct cold outreaches to spur demand for Terrascope products
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quotas related to new sales leads generated
  • Conduct high level conversations with Executives in prospect accounts to evangelize Terrascope and produced qualified sales opportunities
  • Manage a pipeline of thousands of outbound and inbound leads, and consistently nurture existing stagnant leads to become qualified sales opportunities
  • Identify new ways to improve inbound and outbound demand generation, and develop more efficient processes for commercial sales motions

You should have:

  • A passion for building customer relationships and for the field of sustainability
  • Relevant experience managing a quota / quarterly revenue target
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Skill in multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple functions and stakeholders
  • The initiative to improve processes and lead effective projects across multiple teams
  • The ability to be an effective team player and contribute to a dynamic office culture
  • Comfort planning and executing high volume sales outreach activities
  • Resilience to keep trying and iterating on different outreach approaches in order to find which works best for pipeline generation
  • Excellent spoken and written English

Even better if you have:

  • 2 years or more of Inside Sales experience within SaaS (New Business Development, Cold Calling, Planning/Strategy)
  • Experience using Hubspot
  • Experience and contacts in Food and Beverage, Agri and Industrials business
