
The role
The Climate Change Adviser for Aus4Skills provides high-level technical expertise and input relating to climate change, climate adaptation and mainstreaming approaches and solutions for integrating climate change across the Aus4Skills’ programs, communications, MEL and operations. The Climate Change Adviser’s primary responsibility is to deliver a Climate Strategy for the Aus4Skills program that aligns with DFAT policy and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review scientific literature, policies and program documentation for Vietnam
- Produce a Climate & Disaster Risk and Opportunity Analysis for Aus4Skills
- Identify mainstreaming approaches and sectoral workforce skills needs
- Lead stakeholder consultations and a solution‑validation workshop
- Deliver a DFAT‑aligned Climate Strategy with practical actions and metrics
