The Role

The Chief Impact Officer will serve as the strategic and operational lead of TIFI, responsible for driving its overall agenda, partnerships, and impact.

This is a system leadership role—combining strategy development, stakeholder coordination, and execution of key initiatives to advance Thailand’s impact investing ecosystem.

While the role spans TIFI’s full portfolio, initial priorities will include:

  1. Lead TIFI's 3-Year Strategy

You will shape TIFI’s next phase by:

  • Leading development of TIFI’s strategic direction;
  • Engaging key ecosystem stakeholders;
  • Strengthening TIFI’s positioning and sustainability;
  • Identifying high-impact priorities and partnerships.

2. Scale impact initiatives and unlock capital

You will help assess and grow promising impact initiatives, financing mechanisms, and social enterprises by:

  • Identifying scalable opportunities;
  • Building partnerships across sectors;
  • Mobilizing catalytic capital;
  • Strengthening pathways for sustainable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Convene dialogues and partnerships with investors, philanthropists, DFIs, enterprises, academia, and civil society.
  • Knowledge and Innovation: Promote research, market intelligence, and thought leadership in impact measurement and innovative finance.
  • Resource Mobilization: Lead fundraising efforts and identify strategic funding opportunities to support TIFI’s initiatives.
  • Operational Oversight: Lead and manage the TIFI Secretariat, ensuring efficient implementation of programs and sound governance.

Profile

Who You Are

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in impact investing, blended finance, philanthropy, social enterprise, development finance, or ecosystem building
  • Strong track record of cross-sector collaboration and ecosystem development in Thailand.
  • Deep understanding of the impact economy, both global trends and local context.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and policy advocacy skills.
  • Thai national or long-term resident preferred; fluency in Thai and English required.
