To develop and execute public education initiatives to communicate BMDP’s cause to increase awareness, drive donor recruitment and fund-raising.

Advocacy (Stories Curator)

  • To identify and interview donors, patients, volunteers, and other stakeholders to gather impactful stories surrounding our cause.
  • To develop a repository of stories that can be used for advocacy purposes, including written stories, videos, and other multimedia materials.
  • To ensure that stories are effectively shared across various platforms, including social media, websites, and publications.
  • To monitor and evaluate the impact of storytelling efforts while staying informed of storytelling techniques and tools, to maximise effectiveness.

Events

  • To manage third-party fundraisers’ operations and financial donation administrator as well as ensure compliance with regulator’s codes and guidelines.
  • To be responsible for the planning, organising and running BMDP’s events to raise awareness of our cause and increase visibility of BMDP. Such events could be for Donor Recruitment, Public Education and/or Fundraising purposes.
  • To provide good stewardship and engage appropriate, regular communications to retain existing supporters (sponsors and/or donors), encouraging supporters to continue with donate/fundraise and to increase their giving.
  • To manage BMDP’s engagement and / or adoption by third-party organisations who are running events and ensure BMDP’s involvement and presentation conforms with our brand values and messaging.
  • To review existing fundraising strategy and generate new opportunities for funding solicitation and sponsorship; to develop funding proposals, donation appeals and appreciation letter for different partners and to build, foster and maintain good relationship with such partners.

General

  • To ensure adherence to departments policy and procedures to be in compliance with BMDP’s policies and in adherence to the requirements of regulating bodies such as WMDA, PDPA, Charity Act etc.
  • To support in recruitment drives and roadshows when required.
  • To demonstrate BMDP’s Core Values and Core Competencies.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing Communications
  • For Diploma holders, minimum 2 years of marketing experience specifically in the field of content development, copywriting, communications and social media.
  • For Degree holders, fresh graduates may apply
