Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead independent, high-impact research projects on youth development and social policy, encompassing methodological design, data analysis, and the production of reports and policy recommendations.
  • Moderate and engage a network of think tank members, facilitating idea exchanges and collaborative policy discussions to sharpen the organization's research output.
  • Lead press briefings and manage the dissemination of research findings across various communication platforms.
  • Represent the organization in external forums and stakeholder meetings, translating findings into actionable policy agendas that drive social change.
  • Design and execute meaningful engagement activities to ensure research is grounded in the lived experiences of young people and relevant to the community.

Profile

Entry Requirements:

Study Fields:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (e.g., Public Policy, Sociology, Journalism, Social Work, or related disciplines)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in conducting and managing research initiatives

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Solid foundation in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in SPSS and other data analysis tools
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights from the audience’s perspective
  • Problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to evaluate options and consult with senior staff in a timely manner
  • Experience in youth engagement and stakeholder coordination is highly desirable
