
TherapyMantra is looking for compassionate and licensed therapists in New Zealand to provide high-quality mental health support through online and/or in-person sessions. You will work with a diverse client base, helping individuals navigate emotional, psychological, and relationship challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couples, and/or family therapy sessions via video, phone, or chat
- Assess clients’ mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.)
- Support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relationship issues
- Collaborate with internal teams when required for case management
- Ensure ethical practice and compliance with New Zealand mental health regulations
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Registered or licensed therapist in New Zealand (e.g., NZ Psychologists Board / NZAC or equivalent)
- Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with online therapy platforms and digital tools
- Ability to work independently and manage flexible schedules
