We are a leading Chargepoint Operator in the electric vehicle (EV) charging industry, committed to accelerating the adoption of sustainable transportation. We design, deploy, and manage an extensive network of EV charging stations, providing drivers with reliable and convenient charging options. Our mission is to make EV charging accessible, fast, and user-friendly.

Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in identifying and acquiring new properties to expand the company’s ChargePoint network. Your responsibilities will include researching potential sites, conducting negotiations, preparing sales presentations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to secure suitable locations for our business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Property Research and Evaluation

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential properties suitable for our business requirements.
  • Analyse market trends, demographics, and competition to make informed recommendations for site selection.
  • Evaluate properties based on zoning regulations, accessibility, infrastructure, and other relevant factors.

2. Sales Presentations

  • Develop compelling sales presentations showcasing the benefits and potential of of the Company’s EV Charging solutions to owners and managers of residential and commercial properties.
  • Effectively communicate the unique selling points of each site, such as its location advantages, market potential, and financial viability.

3. Negotiations & Deal Structuring

  • Initiate contact and establish relationships with property owners, real estate agents, and other relevant parties.
  • Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms for property acquisition, including purchase price, lease agreements, and other contractual terms.
  • Collaborate with legal and financial teams to structure deals that align with company goals and mitigate potential risks.

4. Site Due Diligence

  • Coordinate site visits and inspections to assess property conditions and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering and construction teams to address any technical feasibility concerns.

5. Market Insights

  • Stay updated on industry trends, real estate market dynamics, and emerging opportunities for property acquisition.
  • Provide strategic insights to leadership regarding potential market shifts and their impact on site selection strategies
Profile

Ǫualifications

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to speak good English/Malay.
  • Proficiency in MS Office product usage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
  • (Advanced degrees are a plus).
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, site or property acquisition, real estate, sales, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of property valuation, market analysis, and deal negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for presenting and negotiating with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
