Description of the mission

The Role

This is a contract position for 2.5 years reporting to the Head of Human Resources. The position is responsible for implementing and overseeing initiatives that enhance the overall employee engagement which inversely improves performance and effectiveness of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement organization-wide initiatives to improve employee engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead the employee engagement survey, and track & project-manage organizational and team actions arising from the survey findings.
  • Design and facilitate team-building or social/interest group activities that promote team camaraderie and collaboration.
  • Create interventions to reinforce a company culture of trust, wellbeing, collaboration, empowerment and accountability.
  • Assess and make recommendations to improve employee value proposition through effective employer branding, trust-building, and promote stability.
  • Plan and execute initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement as well as culture/values alignment through multiple initiatives such as townhalls, staff retreats, team activities, and recognition programs.
  • Explore and implement internal employee communication, including use of tools/platform such as intranet and weekly news, to enhance employee engagement.
  • Gather feedback from employees to continuously improve internal communication efforts.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on organizational development matters.

Profile

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Relevant Experience

  • Proven experience with at least 5 years of experience in organizational development, change management and transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong personal leadership and resilient to drive sustainable organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of communication channels and digital tools.
