Description/Information:
The Sustainability Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the UCBZeroWaste implementation projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and profitably. The Project Manager is in charge of setting short- and long-term milestones together with the National Implementation Managers (the clients’ account managers) to ensure UCBZeroWaste is delivering to the contracted clients what was promised on our proposals and agreements, including the six-step proven process. The Project Manager is in control of properly documenting the implementation milestones on UCB’s tracking systems, monitoring progress, and keeping internal stakeholders informed the entire way.
Responsibilities:
• Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Create and document detailed "Implementation Process Steps" for new clients or expansion of existing clients to clarify client deliverables and expectations
• Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
