We are a leading player in the renewable fuel industry in Southeast Asia as one of the largest producers and exporters of biodiesel in Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Manager to implement Occupational, Safety, Security, Health (OSHAS) and Environment Management System (EMS) in the company. Keep abreast with latest regulatory rules and Standard such as Dept. of Safety & Health (DOSH), Dept. of Environment (DOE), Ministry of Health Department and Fire Services Department.
2. Assist to review and monitor the implementation of OSHAS Program, Policy and Procedures and initiate action to ensure compliance with all internal and external legal requirements. Provide necessary training, guidance and advice to staff so that we can protect and prevent occupational injury illness, potential hazards and minimize environmental impacts.
3. Responsible for day-to-day management of the security matters of all company’s factories and offices. Identify and report potential hazards and unsafe practice that may cause any form of injury or damage to Company property;
4. Ensure the Company in compliance with applicable regulations and standard.
5. Investigate accidents to identify causes and determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future
6. Assist to monitor the implementations and enforcement of SSHE measure introduced by the Company among employees including sub-contractors.
7. Assist to train Emergency Respond Team (ERT), First Aider, hygiene programs, such as noise surveys, continuous atmosphere monitoring, or ventilation surveys and co-ordinate activities related to Schedule Waste Management or Environment monitoring;
