Job Description

Veolia Asia is looking for an experienced professional from the Microelectronics (ME) industry to fill its position of Asia Microelectronics Market & KA Manager. His/her role will be to manage and develop the business with the zone’s ME Strategic Accounts, working closely with local/zone BD and project teams. He/She will report to the Head of Asia Zone Industrial Key Accounts Management Program.

Position location: Taipei / Singapore / Hong Kong / Shanghai / Seoul / Tokyo

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITY: 

Market Management

  • Owner of the development of the ME market for the zone and the zone ME Strategic KA’s regional leadership as relevant

  • Liaise with Group GMD (Group Market Director), adapt to local/zone context the Group’s operating model

  • Organize zone C-level meetings with ME Strategic Accounts

  • Active survey and knowledge on the ME Market and Key Players’ needs and solutions developed (Competitors watch). Ensure the right timed go-to-market testing of the Innovation topics with well selected ME Key Accounts 

  • Define and develop Veolia’s solutions (across all Veolia's portfolio of solutions & business models: water - including water technologies, energy, waste management) that could answer or/and anticipate the  market/clients’ needs and trend with the support of the technical/marketing teams


Key Accounts Management

  • Management of the Zone’s ME Strategic Key Accounts/Prospects (client stakeholders mapping,  engagement & networking, anticipate the clients’ needs and trend, develop long-term innovative partnership…) 

  • Coordinate commercial response to solicited and unsolicited market opportunities

  • Establish the stakeholders mapping of the Clients and their clear decision making process (technical, economic and business buyers)

  • Establish a clear competition landscape

  • Establish the first commercial contact, propose and test different solutions with the clients and eventually coordinate the transition to the project team while remaining part of the project team and the owner of the commercial actions.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (min) or Master, preferably with technical or/and commercial background

  • At least 10-15 years of experience working for a leading company in the Microelectronics industry, with preferably the experience in Asia and in Strategic Planning, Commercial Development, Marketing, Strategic Partnership, Operation…

  • Proficient in English and Chinese is required, French or/and another Asian language desirable

  • Able to travel in Asia for short periods on mission.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCES: 

  • Leading commercial  Knowledge of the ME Market Drivers and Key players, familiar with ME manufacturing processes and supply chain environment

  • Own or/and able to build up and develop a strong commercial network at all levels, including C-Level relationship within the ME industry and clients in Asia

  • Commercial experience for unsolicited proposal

  • Familiarity with managing multi-stakeholders projects, including the corporates

  • Experience of being a critical resource within a multidisciplinary project team

  • Commercial mindset with high creativity based on market and client demands
