Job Description

Bids - Risk Evaluation and Enablement (40-45%)

  • Ensure that we can execute contracts profitably by managing risk associated with Key Performance Indicators, Performance Guarantees, Scope, Costs etc, Particularly multi-region projects and consultation with legal/contracts team as needed. 

  • Ensure PA/ PM team sign up for KPI, Penalty and Guarantees or indicate the risk and suggest a mitigation plan. 

  • DOA ownership, ( obtain approval as per the DOA) and documentation for the bids and offers.

  • Ensure accurate costing is done for complex and/or large deals particularly the bids and renewals  that are not managed using our commercial tools ( SFDC, iDeal, etc). E&P Bids and Bids larger than 300K cost will be done by Product Management. 

  • Ensure Win Process adherence & KYC process is rigorously followed for new accounts set up

New Win and Renewal - Contract Management (40-45%)

  • Lead contract management including terms and conditions, negotiations, contract drafting and consultation with legal, risk and contract teams as needed.

  • Ensure PA/ PM team sign up for KPI, Penalty and Guarantees or indicate the risk and suggest a mitigation plan (in case of variation from the existing contract)

  • DOA ownership, ( obtain approval as per the DOA) and documentation for the renewals.

  • Lead contract documentation for contract >100 USD/ Year and the key accounts. 

  • Act as the Commercial clearing house by providing support for critical documentation such as insurance certificates, lien waivers etc.

  • Lead document retention and contract archival best practices. 

  • Act as Toll Gate for PAT PAIS process and interface between Commercial team and  APAC Price Leader to complete the contract extension and contract closure. 

Commercial Tools and Templates development (5%-10%)

  • Provide Contact Templates, develop and maintain Framework Agreement, standard Terms and Conditions, Proposal and Costing Templates.

  • Work with the Global pricing team to simplify tools ( iDeal PAT, Price book etc) and Processes used by the sales team to maximize automation and speed.

  • Train the Sales team on the effective use of the digital Inquiry to Order (ITO) tools (Price Quote tool, Commercial Operations Portal, SFDC, iDeal, etc) and other resources available to them.

  • Review costing accuracy once in a qtr and progressively improve dependency on iDeal. 

  • Develop and maintain effective internal network (Product Management, Product Applications, Sourcing, Pricing, Legal, Finance, Customer Service)

  • Develop and lead standardization of SEA Agreements, Documentations, Processes and Tools.

  • Leverage SFDC to drive rigor in the deal development cycle and work with the sales team to ensure data integrity and adherence to SFDC processes.

  • Maintain Pricing & Win/Loss Database across all applications to facilitate future bid submissions.

Channel Partner Direction (5%)

  • Work with Channel Manager to provide Price List for new Partner and update/ renewal of the price list.

  • Introduce new products in consultation with PA and CP manager.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of working experience in Contract Management , Bid Management, Commercial Operation or similar role.
  • Major in Science and Engineering preferred.
