Job Description

Within the Digital Transformation team composed of 2 people and reporting to Director, Engineering Platform Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for:

In the context of its transformation, Veolia Water Technologies ambitions to connect all its technologies worldwide thanks to cloud-based IoT solutions (named “Hubgrade”). By doing so, VWT envisions to create a long-term relationship with their customers by providing them with newly added value services.

These services, based on real-time data and enriched with VWT water process expertise and know-how aim at enabling more insightful business decisions, improving installation performance and environmental sustainability and increasing customers’ value creation.

To meet these expectations and leverage the power of VWT network, the related Digital Zone Manager is strengthening with new profiles, both digital and business development oriented.

As the pivot between Digital BU, the other Digital Zone Manager and the local BUs; the Digital Zone Manager actively contributes to the success of the digital transformation. Sharing good practices and information among the different parties, providing strong technical assistance to the BUs and the zone manager on strategic projects, supporting the local development projects, and implementing the VWT IoT standards within the BUs, are the major tasks of this evolutive role.

As a Head of APAC Digital Transformation, your main tasks will be to:

Hubgrade Essential & Assist (HE/A)

General

  • Understand Hubgrade Essential & Assist offers & define the specificity for the region as necessary

  • Coordinate all Hubgrade HE/A related activities within the APAC region

  • Answer Hubgrade related queries from all APAC BUs

  • Report Hubgrade activity on a monthly bases to APAC CEO

  • Report monthly Hubgrade APAC digital activity to Digital BU

  • Communicate with other regions Zone Digital Manager

  • Coordinate connectivity topics with IoT team

  • Coordinate cyber-security and ERP topics with IT team

MarCom

  • Promote internally HE/A offers to APAC BU Directors, proposal, P&A, Sales/BDs

  • Cooperate with MarCom team (APAC & Digital BU) to promote the offer externally : to be included in all products/techno/markets marketing communication & direct promotion through webinars, expo presentations, articles, etc…

  • Use the existing operating Hubgrade platforms to built up case studies for further promotion

  • Develop specific promotion tools for Hubgrade on Elga / Std Products (together with the support of Elga team APAC & UK / Std Product team & Techno BUs)

Sales

  • Support the Sales / BDs to present the digital solutions to potential Clients (training on the offers, present the solution to external Clients, etc…)

  • Develop and present the yearly Hubgrade HE/A budget together with BUs

  • Follow-up HE/A opportunities pipeline on a regular basis with BU Directors & BDs, using skywater

  • Take specific actions to develop HE/A pipeline with each BU.

Proposal

  • Build & improve a HE/A costing tool and standard proposal documents (slide/docs).

  • Prepare & issue HE/A budgetary & firm quotations upon BUs requests for std products / projects / service tenders

  • Collect feedback from IoT on actual time spend on HE implementation to improve HE costing 

  • Manage HE/A offering for std product Distributors

  • Execution

  • Manage HE implementation together with the IoT / IT engineers

  • Support Financial team to report HE/A financial revenues

  • Collect feedback from the operation team about HE implementation and the use of the digital solution. Share these feedback with Digital BU.

  • Manage the connection of MWS fleet when applicable.

Service

  • Push HE/A solutions to be bundled within service installed base and new offers

  • Include HE/A offer in service offers templates

  • Ensure with BUs that HE/A subscriptions (SaaS) are renewed. Collect feedback for improvement.

Hubgrade Performance (Smart Solutions, Hubgrade Performance Plant

General

  • Understand Hubgrade Smart Solutions & Hubgrade Performance Plant (HPP) offers 

  • Coordinate all Hubgrade Performance (HP) related activities within the APAC region

  • Answer Hubgrade related queries from all APAC BUs

  • Report HP activity on a monthly bases to APAC CEO

  • Report monthly HP APAC digital activity to Digital BU and Kruger

  • Communicate with other regions Zone Digital Manager

  • Coordinate connectivity topics with IoT team / Digital BU / Kruger

  • Coordinate cyber-security topics with IT team / Digital BU / Kruger

MarCom

  • Promote internally HP offers to APAC BU Directors, Sales/BDs

Qualifications

You have an educational background in Master in  an Engineering discipline and a 10 years experience in a Senior Management Position that revolves around water treatment engineering  and project management ? 

You have competencies in / knowledge of Technical?
