Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities in the commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solar solutions.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to gather relevant technical information for accurate proposal development.
  • Leverage engineering knowledge to explain technical aspects of our solar products and services to clients in an easily understandable manner.
  • Prepare and present customized solutions that meet the technical and financial needs of potential clients.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets through strategic account management and closing deals.
  • Work closely with internal engineering and project teams to ensure smooth project handover and execution.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs to refine business development strategies.
Profile

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.), or any technical field related to energy solutions.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or technical sales roles. Experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts, particularly in energy systems, electrical systems, or renewable energy.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites for face-to-face meetings and site inspections.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-orientated mindset.
  • Ability to assess client needs and offer solutions that are both technically and financially sound.
