About the job

As the Program Manager, you will provide strategic, managerial, and operational support to the Program team. You will oversee a portfolio of grant programs aligned with ViriyaENB's 3-year Strategy Framework. You will also be responsible for managing communication between ViriyaENB and grantees, as well as promoting collaboration among grantees and other key partners.

Responsibilities and Profile

Strategy:

Involve in the development and turn ViriyaENB's theory of change into a grantmaking portfolio and partnership-building initiatives.
Monitor developments and trends in the energy-related sectors and other climate and development areas relevant to net zero goals.
Evaluate the strategies’ viability and recommend adjustments if needed.

Grant management:

Identify and develop potential grant programs and partners.
Work with prospective grantees to develop concept notes and proposals.
Evaluate proposals against predefined criteria and recommend them to the Grant Committee.
Periodically assess the grant progress and review financial and narrative reports.

Collaborations:

Work with internal and external groups to assess the challenges and opportunities for the grant program.
Identify potential collaborative interventions and partnerships.
Facilitate collaboration among grantees and with other relevant partners.

Communication and reporting:

Support the preparation of materials pertaining to the grant program for communication and reporting to internal and external audiences.
