About the job

As the Program Manager, you will provide strategic, managerial, and operational support to the Program team. You will oversee a portfolio of grant programs aligned with ViriyaENB's 3-year Strategy Framework. You will also be responsible for managing communication between ViriyaENB and grantees, as well as promoting collaboration among grantees and other key partners.

Strategy:

  • Involve in the development and turn ViriyaENB's theory of change into a grantmaking portfolio and partnership-building initiatives.
  • Monitor developments and trends in the energy-related sectors and other climate and development areas relevant to net zero goals.
  • Evaluate the strategies’ viability and recommend adjustments if needed.

Grant management:

  • Identify and develop potential grant programs and partners.
  • Work with prospective grantees to develop concept notes and proposals.
  • Evaluate proposals against predefined criteria and recommend them to the Grant Committee.
  • Periodically assess the grant progress and review financial and narrative reports.

Collaborations:

  • Work with internal and external groups to assess the challenges and opportunities for the grant program.
  • Identify potential collaborative interventions and partnerships.
  • Facilitate collaboration among grantees and with other relevant partners.

Communication and reporting:

  • Support the preparation of materials pertaining to the grant program for communication and reporting to internal and external audiences.
