The Business Development Executive will play a central role in driving business development for Wiser Environment in both Vietnam and the UK. They will, coordinate proposal preparation, lead tender submissions and supporting photovoltaic (PV) sales. This role focuses on winning new business to help.
Specific job tasks and activities
- Sales Support: Identify and engage potential clients, prepare quotations and proposals and follow up on enquiries.
- Tender Identification and Research: Regularly search tender portals and networks for opportunities aligned with Wiser’s services, particularly in environmental consultancy, waste management and PV projects.
- Tender Coordination: Manage the full tender process including gathering inputs from technical teams, preparing compliant documentation, and submitting proposals with deadlines.
- Proposal Development: Maintain and improve proposal templates and supporting documents, ensuring consistency in quality, formatting and brand presentation.
- Internal Collaboration: Liaise closely with UK-based technical, operational and commercial teams to gather accurate project and pricing information.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and prospects to support long-term business growth.
- Networking at Industry Events: Attending conferences, seminars and networking events to build relationships and stay informed about industry developments.
- Market Research: Analysing market trends, competitor activities and potential growth areas to inform business strategies.
- Sales Tracking and Reporting: Monitoring sales activities, maintaining a sales pipeline and regularly progress to senior management.
- Undertake other duties as necessary to support the business as directed by the management team.
