KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Development and Implementation

  • Support the implementation of WGNRR’s global, regional, and national advocacy and programmatic initiatives, ensuring alignment with rights-based, feminist and intersectional approaches.
  • Coordinate and monitor projects, particularly those implemented in the Philippines, while contributing to global and regional initiatives as needed.
  • Develop and deliver capacity-building workshops, training sessions, and tools in collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate logistical planning for events, workshops, and meetings, including sourcing and liaising with consultants and resource persons, as well as drafting their Terms of Reference (ToR). Ensure the quality of outputs delivered by consultants and resource persons by monitoring progress, providing feedback, and reviewing submitted work. Work closely with the Finance and Admin team to ensure timely processing of contracts, payments, and administrative requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, including both financial and narrative components, to document project progress, outcomes, and challenges. Ensure accuracy and alignment with WGNRR’s reporting standards and donor requirements by collaborating with the Finance and Admin team and other relevant staff.

Partnership and Movement-Strengthening

  • Strengthen relationships with SRHR-focused organizations, women’s rights groups, and youth-led organizations, and other Civil Society Organizations to foster collaborative advocacy and collective action.
  • Represent WGNRR in international, regional, and national forums, ensuring the organization’s values and priorities are championed effectively.
  • Facilitate dialogues and partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including grassroots organizations, to ensure inclusivity and amplify marginalized voices.

Advocacy and Campaigns

  • Monitor SRHR trends, human rights violations, and advocacy developments to inform WGNRR’s work and policy priorities, including contributing to research efforts by gathering data, conducting preliminary analysis, and coordinating with consultants or partners to ensure comprehensive and evidence-based insights.
  • Collaborate with the team and partners to develop, execute, and contribute to advocacy campaigns, including global and regional initiatives such as International Women’s Health Day and International Safe Abortion Day
  • Represent WGNRR in advocacy spaces, including conferences, forums, and coalition meetings, to amplify the organization’s values and priorities.
  • Link and network with relevant organizations, networks, and groups to expand the reach and impact of advocacy efforts.

Communications and Knowledge Management

  • Support the implementation of strategies to enhance WGNRR’s visibility and engagement through digital platforms, social media, and traditional media channels. This includes creation of digital and print content, including newsletters, social media posts, and campaign materials, to promote WGNRR’s work and values.
  • Support the dissemination of research, policy papers, and campaign materials to partners, allies, and the public, ensuring that key messages are effectively tailored to and reach target audiences.
  • Contribute to the proper organization, storage, and cataloguing of WGNRR’s files, including documents, reports, photos, and other materials.

Monitoring & Evaluation and Learning

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to measure progress toward program objectives and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with partners and project and campaign stakeholders to document lessons learned and best practices, contributing to WGNRR’s organizational learning.

Donor Reporting and Fundraising

  • Collect and analyze data to monitor the impact of programs, campaigns, and advocacy initiatives, contributing to organizational learning.
  • Prepare high-quality donor reports and support fundraising efforts through proposal development and resource mobilization.

Organizational Strengthening

  • Support organizational processes to strengthen and ensure the sustainability of WGNRR’s capacity to address emerging global and regional SRHR issues.
  • Mentor and manage interns and volunteers when needed, ensuring alignment with WGNRR’s mission and fostering their growth as advocates for SRHR.
Profile

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, Development Communication or related fields.
  • At least 3–4 years of experience in program implementation, advocacy, or campaign coordination, preferably in the SRHR or women’s rights sectors within non-government organizations, including a minimum of 2 years in a professional role.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, including working with governments and civil society organizations, and representing organizations in multi-stakeholder forums.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of SRHR, gender equality, and developmental and social justice issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for diverse audiences (e.g., donors, stakeholders, general public).
  • Strong data collection and analysis skills for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to prepare compelling donor reports and proposals.
  • Effective coordination and organizational skills, including managing volunteers.
  • Must have ability to think creatively and seek innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively while independently managing tasks and delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision, including in remote settings.
