Job Title: Project Manager, Sustainable Finance

Summary

This position supports the Sustainable Finance Lead in overseeing and executing projects to achieve sustainability impact targets. The role requires strong project management, leadership, and communication skills to coordinate teams,manage resources, and secure funding.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, assigning tasks and tracking progress.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment and provide direction to project teams.
  • Identify and secure funding sources to support sustainability initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to target potential donors and monitor progress.
  • Create and submit funding proposals to secure long-term financial support.
  • Assess and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain project quality by conducting regular reviews and assessments.
  • Prepare and communicate project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability and sustainable finance trends.
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience, including donor-funded projects.
  • Strong project management methodologies and best practices expertise.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
