The WWF Youth Lead will be responsible for managing the three core components of the WWF-Philippines Youth Program and driving strategic planning and fundraising efforts to support program activities. The position involves overseeing the development, implementation, monitoring, and fundraising of programs and related initiatives while ensuring alignment with WWF’s Youth Program goals.
- A. Strategic Planning and Management
- Lead the strategic planning and implementation of initiatives under the Education, Enrichment, and Leadership components of the WWF-Philippines Youth Program.
- Ensure alignment with WWF’s goals and objectives, including expanding youth engagement in environmental conservation efforts and fostering leadership development.
- Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of each pillar and adjust program strategies as needed.
- B. Program Oversight
- Oversee the development, implementation, and management of the Education, Enrichment, and Leadership components, ensuring each pillar's activities and projects are efficiently executed.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, schools, and partner organizations.
- Facilitate cross-pillar (component) collaboration, ensuring that tools, resources, and best practices are shared effectively across the program’s components.
- Ensure a cohesive and consistent environmental education experience for all youth participants.
- C. Fundraising and Resource Mobilization
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure financial support for WWF-Philippines Youth Programs, including donor engagement and cultivating long-term relationships.
- Identify potential funding sources such as grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donors and submit proposals and applications to secure funds.
- Monitor and report on fundraising goals, expenditures, and resource utilization to ensure accountability and transparency.
- D. Program Partnerships
- Establish and nurture partnerships with institutions, organizations, and community groups, government agencies (DepEd/ CHED), schools, and youth networks.
- Manage collaborative efforts with local organizations and institutions to promote the program and reach broader youth audiences.
- Lead efforts to advocate for the integration of environmental education into national curriculum and sustainability pathways.
- E. Leadership Development
- Oversee the design and execution of leadership training programs, mentorship initiatives, and youth advocacy campaigns to build a new generation of environmental leaders.
- Facilitate youth engagement through youth forums, environmental camps, and school-based activities that encourage youth participation in conservation efforts.
- F. Impact Measurement
- Lead efforts to design the efforts to measure and evaluate the program’s impact, tracking youth behavior changes, leadership involvement, and participation in WWF programs.
- Design and analyze surveys, evaluations, and reports to assess the educational impact in sustainability careers, and the overall effectiveness of WWF’s youth engagement strategy.
- Use data and feedback to improve program design and delivery.
