Main Responsibilities / Duties

Individual Donor Management

  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to acquire and retain individual donors.
  • Maintain and regularly update donor databases and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data management standards.
  • Assist in donor communications, including newsletters, impact updates, campaigns, and personalized outreach to existing and prospective donors.
  • Support the planning and execution of online fundraising campaigns and digital donor engagement initiatives.

Corporate Partnerships (CSR)

  • Identify and research potential corporate partners whose values and programs are aligned with ASRI’s conservation and planetary health mission.
  • Support the development of partnership proposals, presentations, and CSR opportunity materials.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining relationships with existing corporate partners, including coordination of reporting and regular communication.
  • Monitor CSR partnership timelines and deliverables to ensure commitments are met on both sides.

Grant Support

  • Support administrative and coordination functions in grant management, including preparation of required documentation, compliance materials, and reporting schedules.
  • Assist in coordinating with the program and grant teams, and with the Fundraising Coordinator, to ensure timely submission of proposals and donor reports.
  • Track grant-related requirements, deadlines, and follow-up actions, flagging risks or delays to the Fundraising Coordinator promptly.

Coordination & Administration

  • Work closely with program, communications, and finance teams to align fundraising activities with organizational priorities and ensure accurate and timely reporting to donors.
  • Maintain proper documentation of fundraising activities, donor interactions, and partnership agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies for all fundraising-related activities.
  • Contribute to team meetings, fundraising planning sessions, and internal reviews as required.

Output / Key Deliverables

  • An accurate and up-to-date donor database maintained throughout the contract period.
  • At least a defined number of individual donor and/or corporate partnership outreach activities completed per quarter (targets to be set with the Fundraising Coordinator).
  • Timely preparation and submission of grant-related documentation, proposals, and reports in coordination with the grants team.
  • Monthly progress summaries on donor engagement activities, CSR pipeline, and grant support tasks.
  • Fundraising materials and communications produced in a timely, accurate, and professionally presented manner.
  • No independent budget authority; all fundraising expenditures are subject to approval by the Fundraising Coordinator.
  • May engage in routine donor communications and follow-ups independently within approved messaging frameworks.
  • All new partnership agreements, major donor commitments, and grant submissions require approval from the Fundraising Coordinator and/or relevant senior staff.

Selection Criteria

  • Non-Smoker
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, International Relations, Social Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in fundraising, communications, marketing, donor relations, or partnerships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Genuine interest in and commitment to environmental conservation, public health, and community development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with donor relationship management (DRM) systems or CRM platforms.
  • Experience in digital fundraising, online campaigns, or social media for non-profit purposes.
  • Familiarity with grant management processes, donor compliance requirements, or proposal writing.
  • Experience working in or with NGOs, CSR programs, or development organizations.
  • Knowledge of the Indonesian philanthropic or CSR landscape is an advantage.
