Main Responsibilities / Duties

  1. Coordinate the planning, preparation, and implementation of project activities in Papua
  2. Coordinate the field activities of the project
  3. Assisting the project manager to ensure the project timelines and milestones are met
  4. Maintain a strong relationship with project partners, local communities, and other stakeholders
  5. Conduct regular field visits to assess the project implementation
  6. Prepare, develop and manage Annual Work Plans and Budgets under Project Manager Supervision
  7. Review monitoring reports to assess key milestones and identify sources of potential bottlenecks in project implementation.
  8. Assist the project manager in managing project budgets and resources
  9. Prepare and submit progress reports to the project manager

  1. Project plans and schedules
  2. Regular progress and monitoring reports
  3. Documentation of meetings and workshops
  4. Data collection, data analysis, and data interpretation regarding the project
  5. Successful implementation of project activities as per the project plan

Profile

Selection Criteria

  1. Non-Smoker
  2. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Biology, Forestry, Environmental Science, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field
  3. At least 3 year of experience in project management, preferably in environmental conservation or community health projects
  4. Proven experience in working with local communities and government agencies in Indonesia
  5. Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and reporting
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  8. Willing to conduct field visits across all working areas, requiring physical fitness and an ability to work in various environmental conditions
  9. Commitment to ASRI’s mission and values
  10. High level of cultural sensitivity and adaptability
  11. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  12. Willingness to travel frequently to remote areas
  13. Proficient in data collection and analysis techniques
  14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  15. Proficiency in English (written or oral) is preferred
