Profile
  • Citizenship & Age: Youth citizens from Southeast Asian countries, aged 18-35 years.
  • Terms: Willing and committed to join Youth for Energy Southeast Asia (Y4ESEA) for 1 (one) year term April 2025 - April 2026 on voluntary basis (approximately. 4-5 hours per week commitment)
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, suitable for daily interactions and professional correspondence.
  • Sector Knowledge & Interest: Demonstrated knowledge of or a strong interest in the energy sector, Understanding of ASEAN youth and energy governance is advantageous.
  • Event Planning Experience: Previous experience in planning, executing, or participating in youth-focused events is highly desirable.
  • Organizational Background: Proven organizational and management skills, preferably through prior involvement in youth organizations or initiatives.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Networking Skills: A strong network with relevant stakeholders, including government, NGOs, or private sector entities, is a significant asset and would be a plus
  • Organizational Competence: Strong planning skills, organizational, and abilities to set priorities effectively.
  • Personal Attributes: Proactive mindset, critical thinking ability, eye for details, willingness to learn and contribute to the organization's vision.
