In line with our increasing business, we are looking for a Lead Process Engineer /Senior Process Consultant - LNG & Green Fuels for our energy business in SEA countries.
Job Description
We are seeking energy professionals to deliver innovative LNG supply and energy solutions to our clients. As part of an interconnected team, you will provide engineering and consultancy services to the energy sector from project development to Front end engineering design (FEED). As part of the AFRY team, you will be involved in feasibility studies, conceptual design, technical due diligence, FEED, and basic engineering across LNG-to-Power projects in Asia. You should be able to lead the conceptual design for different LNG terminals that include onshore and floating terminals and interconnection with power plants.
In addition to LNG projects, we offer opportunity for interested candidates to get involved in green fuel projects, such as green hydrogen and ammonia.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university
- Experience between 15 to 20 years of Process engineering/design experience in the LNG industry. LNG import terminal experience is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple interfaces and prioritize work
- Ability to develop LNG terminal process calculations such as LNG Jetty (Topside), metering system, Gas pipeline, etc.
- Strong Regasification system design, BOG handling system design is Must
- Knowledge of process modeling software and experience in the use of relevant technical computing tools and design tools for hydraulic calculations, and TRV relief amongst other evaluations
- Good knowledge of industry standards and practices related to process design and safety
- Carry out PFDs & P&IDs, HMB development, Design Pressure & Temperature breaks & Protection measures, HAZOP, SIL assessment, Cryogenic Spill protection (Impoundment basin calculations), and Fire Fighting measures.
- Review and develop Flare sizing calculations, and process calculations, FEED and EPC contractors proposal and technical design to ensure it meets design basis for the project requirement, industry codes and standards and best practice in the industry
- Conduct fire righting system and hydraulic calculations
- Proficiency using Aspen HYSYS, PHAST 2D, and Pipenet software
- Willingness to work with Hydrogen and Ammonia (Power-to-X) Projects
- Expert in report writing and Fluent in English communications
- Experience in Consulting firms is preferred
