In South East Asia, we are a leading power sector consulting engineering company executing our regional consultancy and engineering assignments from our power sector consulting offices in Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Hanoi, Singapore, Pune, Noida and Taipei. In total, we have multinational staff of more than 500 working in power generation field in Asia.
In line with our increasing business, we are looking for a Senior Recruiter to support our recruitment needs in SEA countries. This position shall be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Job Description
Your scope of work will include the following:
- Handle recruitment needs related to various AFRY offices in South-East Asia, such as Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, Taiwan and potentially also Australia; handle expatriate recruitment needs in South-East Asia region
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to fulfill all job openings with high quality and efficiency.
- Manage recruitment channels and job postings
- Maintain timely and appropriate communications with all recruitment stakeholders including management, hiring managers, candidates and HR colleagues to understand the recruitment needs and the key qualifications of the candidates required
- Proactively approach potential candidates through various channels, such as LinkedIn and other social media, university visits, etc. and maintain contact and communications with the potential candidates
- Provide support to hiring managers on hiring needs, job descriptions and hiring process to ensure hiring strategy in alignment with business needs and framework
- Participate in interviews and sort through applicants to fill open positions.
- Keep up to date and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, company rules and regulations and company’s diversity and inclusion policies in various SEA countries
- Keep up to date with the market salary levels and benefit packages
- Facilitate the offer process and clarify and negotiate employment terms.
- Manage onboarding process for new hires including handling employment related contracts and visa/work permit requirements in various SEA countries (if applicable).
- Promote the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- At least 7-10 years of recruiting experience preferred; experience in recruitment for power/renewable energy sector or consulting engineering companies is a plus.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong skills in candidate assessment and negotiation.
- Proficient in sourcing talents through various channels.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Very good command of spoken and written Thai and English languages.
- A working knowledge of employment law and legislation
