Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Programme, the Officer / Assistant Officer supports the implementation of disability and inclusive programmes and collaboration. This position plays an active role in the development of programming initiatives to promote the mission of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong “Arts are for EVERYONE”.

Responsibilities:

To assist in planning, implementing and enhancing the nurturing journeys of the artists.
To assist in the coordination and production of projects and programmes.
To participate in proposal writing, funder engagement activities and events.
To write, translate and edit texts for bilingual publications, marketing and communication materials, website and social media content.
To look out for opportunities for the artists to showcase their talents to local, regional, and international audience.
To be responsible for project related reporting including both narrative and financial.
To prepare monthly and regular reports for internal and external meetings.
To support other teams on events and collaborated activities.
To carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisors.

Profile

Requirements:

A university degree with a minimum of two years' relevant experience in Arts and Cultural, Humanities, Journalism or related disciplines;
Knowledge of the local and international performing / visual arts scene;
Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese, competence in Putonghua and other languages would be an advantage;
Good project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Proactive, detail-minded, responsible, adaptable with tactful communication and interpersonal skills;
Proficient in MS Office, familiar with design software and video editing would be an advantage.
Candidate with less experience will be considering as Assistant Officer.
