ACF is looking for an enthusiastic intern with excellent communications and interpersonal skills who is passionate about contributing to the social impact sector. Reporting to the Director of Development and Engagement, the Development Intern will play a key role providing the research required to drive a new donor pipeline. This is a great opportunity to develop and grow your research and engagement skills.

  • Provide research and insights to help drive the donor pipeline
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a new donor management system
  • Identify opportunities for the Development team to engage with potential new donors: events, conferences both local and within the region
  • Help contribute data to system for tracking proposals and progress status for new donors
  • Help to research new grant opportunities for ACF
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and APC team members
Profile

A keen interest in the nonprofit or philanthropic sectors.

  • Familiarity with CRM and pipeline management systems
  • Excellent English language communications—written, oral and listening; interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to self-start, make decisions and adjust to evolving situations

*Flexible and part-time working arrangements available. For part-time interns, we will strongly prefer candidates who are able to commit 16-24 hours (2-3 working days) a week.
