Content and Community Marketing Specialist

Location: Philippines, Remote

About the Role

As BagoSphere’s Content & Community Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in sharing the stories that bring our mission to life. You’ll manage our social media presence—especially on LinkedIn—craft inspiring newsletters, and help organize events that strengthen our community of learners, partners, and team members.

Creative yet grounded, you can turn ideas into compelling content, organize campaigns and events with care, and ensure every message reflects BagoSphere’s purpose of helping people flourish.

You’ll work closely with our leadership and program teams to ensure every message reflects our values of authenticity, growth, and human connection. Your day-to-day will blend creativity and organization—writing engaging content, managing timelines, coordinating with designers or photographers, and tracking impact through analytics.

  • You’ve strengthened BagoSphere’s online presence, growing our LinkedIn following and engagement rate by 25–40% through consistent, meaningful, and well-crafted content.
  • You’ve produced story-driven newsletters with an average open rate of 35%+, featuring authentic stories of growth and impact.
  • You’ve managed an effective content calendar, ensuring communications are timely, relevant, and aligned with our brand voice.
  • You’ve co-led or supported key community and partner events, from planning to post-event storytelling, ensuring smooth execution and engagement.
  • You’ve tracked and reported communication metrics, providing actionable insights that inform future campaigns.
  • You’ve contributed to shaping BagoSphere’s brand story—ensuring every touchpoint reflects authenticity, empathy, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compelling Digital Presence

  • Manage BagoSphere’s social media accounts, especially LinkedIn, to consistently reflect our voice, values, and impact stories.
  • Plan and publish regular posts with strong storytelling and visual consistency.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and strengthens audience engagement.

2. Impactful Storytelling

  • Write and publish monthly newsletters that connect emotionally and inspire engagement.
  • Feature authentic stories of learners, partners, and team members.
  • Build and maintain a well-organized library of stories, visuals, and brand assets.

3. Community and Event Support

  • Organize or co-lead internal and external events—from planning and logistics to post-event communication.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Capture and produce content from events (e.g., photos, recaps, videos) for online sharing.

4. Marketing Operations

  • Maintain an editorial calendar across all communication channels.
  • Track and report analytics (reach, engagement, conversions) to guide future campaigns.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, decks, and videos.
  • Provide monthly summaries and insights on communication performance.

5. Strategic Insight & Growth

  • Analyze communication and engagement trends to refine messaging and approach.
  • Experiment with new content formats and share learnings with the team.
  • Contribute to quarterly reflection and planning sessions to align communication priorities with organizational goals.

  • Strong Writing and Editing Skills — Clear, engaging, and audience-sensitive writing adaptable across platforms.
  • Social Media Management — Skilled in content scheduling, LinkedIn optimization, and analytics tracking.
  • Visual Sense — Ability to create or adapt visuals using tools like Canva; works well with designers.
  • Organization & Execution — Manages timelines, content calendars, and event logistics effectively.
  • Collaboration — Partners closely with team leads, program heads, and external collaborators.
  • Analytical Thinking — Uses data and insights to refine messaging and strategies.
  • Empathy and Voice Alignment — Communicates with warmth and authenticity consistent with BagoSphere’s brand.
  • Mission-Driven Mindset — Passionate about education, growth, and community building.

Preferred Experience

  • 2–4 years in marketing, communications, or related roles.
  • Experience managing brand social media pages (especially LinkedIn).
  • Writing portfolio including newsletters, social media posts, or feature articles.
  • Experience in organizing small to mid-scale events is a plus.
  • Background in education, social enterprise, or development sectors is an advantage.
