Role Purpose
The Head of Corporate Services is responsible for building, leading, and optimizing the company’s corporate backbone—covering IT, Administration & Facilities, Marketing & Communications, and selected People/HR Operations—to support the company’s growth across solar development, EPC, and asset operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Services Leadership
- Lead and integrate IT, Admin & Facilities, Marketing & Communications, and related corporate support functions.
- Establish policies, SOPs, and service-level standards aligned with a project-based renewable energy business.
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and department heads, ensuring corporate services enable execution, not bureaucracy.
- Manage departmental budgets, cost controls, and vendor performance.
2. Information Technology & Digital Systems
- Own company-wide IT strategy and digital infrastructure, including:
- Cloud systems (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace)
- Project documentation platforms (SharePoint, Dropbox, etc.)
- Cybersecurity, data protection, and access control
- Oversee IT vendors/MSPs; ensure uptime, cybersecurity, and cost discipline.
- Support engineering, project management, and asset-operations systems (e.g., monitoring platforms, CM tools, data rooms).
- Implement digital workflows for approvals, procurement, document control, and reporting.
3. Administration & Facilities
- Oversee office administration, facilities, fleet coordination (if any), and general services.
- Manage procurement of non-project goods and services, including vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost benchmarking.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, office safety, and business permits.
- Establish lean administrative processes suitable for a fast-moving EPC/developer environment.
4. Marketing & Communications
- Lead corporate branding, marketing, and communications for:
- Solar rooftop and ground-mount development
- EPC and construction management services
- Asset operations and long-term O&M capabilities
- Oversee corporate collateral, website content, proposals, pitch decks, and case studies.
- Support BD and commercial teams with marketing materials for C&I, utility, and institutional clients.
- Manage PR, social media presence (as relevant), and external communications.
5. People Operations & Corporate Governance (as applicable)
- Support HR/People Ops (or directly oversee if no HR head), including:
- HR policies, employee handbook, and compliance
- Performance management frameworks
- Recruitment coordination for corporate roles
- Ensure proper corporate governance, internal controls, and documentation discipline.
- Coordinate with legal, accounting, and external advisors.
6. Risk, Compliance & Cost Control
- Identify operational, IT, and corporate risks; implement mitigation controls.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, data-privacy regulations, and corporate policies.
- Drive cost efficiency across corporate services without compromising execution quality.
