Looking to get your hands dirty in the forest and contribute to ecological design?
We are looking for a versatile candidate with strong knowledge of Singapore's biodiversity who is willing to conduct fieldwork and support bioSEA’s work in ecological planning and design, habitat restoration, and desktop biodiversity assessments. Knowledge of biodiversity and/or fieldwork experience in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Middle East will be an advantage.
In many ways, bioSEA offers a unique value proposition and learning environment. We operate in the built environment industry with a lens of ‘nature’ and a strong focus on ecological design. We conduct biodiversity impact assessments (BIAs), Environmental Mitigation and Monitoring Plans (EMMPs), and also work with architects, landscape architects, and engineers to infuse ecological principles in built environment projects. Typical of small teams, the candidate can expect to be involved in multiple projects at any time. This requires agility but allows immense learning opportunities and professional growth.
