Role Summary
The Regional Marketing Manager will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving marketing, communications, and PR activities across the entire Asia region. Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will serve as a strategic employee capable of independently structuring and running high-stakes projects. You will provide the bridge between regional strategy and local execution, acting as a mentor and lead for in-country Assistant Marketing Managers to ensure regional cohesion and excellence.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Project Leadership & Structuring: Take full ownership of complex, multi-channel regional initiatives. You must be able to independently structure project frameworks, define KPIs, and manage the execution phase with minimal oversight.
- Team Management & Mentorship: Act as the primary point of coordination for in-country Assistant Marketing Managers. You will be responsible for managing their outputs, providing strategic guidance, and stepping in to lead local teams whenever necessary to ensure alignment with regional goals.
- Pan-Asian Brand Stewardship: Oversee brand management for the entire region. Ensure that local adaptations in diverse markets stay true to core corporate identity while remaining culturally resonant and high impact.
- Senior-Level Content & Writing: Serve as the lead editorial voice for Asia. Develop high-level press releases, thought-leadership pieces, and executive talking points and briefings. You will ensure that all content—whether produced by you or the junior team—meets the highest professional standards.
- Strategic Digital Oversight: Maintain a "digital-first" mindset across the region. Guide the junior staff in localized social media strategies and SEO best practices, ensuring a sophisticated and unified digital presence for the brand across all Asian markets. This includes being a hands-on content developer and technology user able to update, maintain and further develop corporate digital platforms such as the intranet and website.
- Strategic Partner & Executive Surrogate: Advise Board members and Function Heads with the executive presence to manage competing regional interests. As a direct extension of the Senior Marketing Manager, you will serve as their primary surrogate—leading high-level forums and board discussions independently when required. You will own regional internal communications and drive the strategic "heavy lifting" for cross-border initiatives to ensure continuity in the Senior Marketing Manager’s absence.
- Budget Oversight & ROI: Assist the Senior Marketing Manager in planning and monitoring regional expenditures. You will be responsible for reporting on the ROI and MROI of initiatives and optimizing budget allocation across different countries.
