Your main tasks:

  • Support the coordination of project planning, budgeting, implementation, technical monitoring and reporting with all implementing partners.
  • Consolidate reports from partners.
  • Develop reports for donors.
  • Contribute to other activities that support the projects’ goals and the organization’s mission.
  • Write project application based on partner’s inputs.
  • Enhance monitoring and evaluation systems, including IT supported data collection of partners.
  • Assess, finalize and submit project proposals, including detailed budgets presented by the partners to the approving BftW committees.
  • Assess, prepare and conduct all required reporting, including administrative and financial documents for:
  • Partners’ budget requests and fund transfers from the BftW Head Office.
  • Progress reports.
  • Audit reports.
  • Project closures.
  • Support the Regional Representative and the Project Coordinator in all diverse areas upon request.
Profile

Your profile

  • A university degree (a master’s degree is preferable) in Climate Change, Gender, Economics; Social, Political, and Environmental Science.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working with (I)NGOs in complex development programs funded by international donors .
  • Advanced knowledge in project cycle, particularly in qualitative project application in compliance with international donor requirements, qualitative reporting and knowledge of result-based monitoring and evaluation of international cooperation projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present critically complex subjects and concepts fluently, accurately, and logically, both orally and in writing.
  • Proven capacities in developing and managing project budgets, with a strong understanding of finance and audit reports.
  • Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting is highly desirable.
  • Experience in administrative management in compliance with international donor requirements and knowledge of frameworks of multilateral and European, especially German development cooperation.
  • Outstanding command of written and oral formal English is essential, proficiency in German language and/or other ASEAN languages would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in the region, especially in ASEAN countries, would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including adaptability to dynamic working environments, sound advisory and communication abilities, intercultural sensitivity, time and stress management, teamwork, and resilience.
  • Good working knowledge in ITC technologies and computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
