The Opportunity
As Regional Communications Advisor, you will serve as:
You will work closely with global communications colleagues, Regional Management Teams, and Country Offices to elevate CARE’s share of voice, strengthen media engagement, and ensure rapid, coordinated communications during emergencies.

Required Qualifications:
Who You Are:
You are a seasoned communications professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on storytelling skills — equally comfortable drafting executive messaging as you are capturing field footage.
You bring:
1. 10+ years of experience in communications, journalism, international relations, or related fields.
2. Proven experience working with global and regional media.
3. Exceptional writing and editing skills — able to translate complex humanitarian issues into compelling, accessible narratives.
4. Fluency in English (written and spoken).
5. Experience managing crisis communications under pressure.
6. Advanced multimedia storytelling skills and a strong design eye.
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently across time zones with virtual teams.
8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes priorities simultaneously.
9. Deep commitment to ethical storytelling and safeguarding principles.
