The Volunteer Engagement Executive coordinates volunteer recruitment, deployment, engagement, and retention to support eldercare programmes. The role works closely with volunteers, community partners, and internal teams to ensure effective programme delivery, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and enhance volunteer participation. Through data tracking, reporting, and compliance with safety and organisational standards, the incumbent helps create positive volunteer experiences and meaningful impact for seniors.

Responsibilities:

Volunteer Engagement

  • Coordinate the end-to-end volunteer lifecycle, including sourcing, onboarding, deployment, and retention
  • Match volunteers’ skills, availability, and interests to appropriate eldercare programmes (e.g. befriending, escorting, outreach activities)
  • Facilitate volunteer briefings, training sessions, and engagement initiatives to support service quality
  • Monitor volunteer participation and engagement trends to improve volunteer experience and continuity

Event Support

  • Support planning and delivery of volunteer-supported eldercare programmes, including centre-based and community outreach activities
  • Coordinate volunteer deployment with internal teams to meet operational and client needs
  • Ensure smooth programme execution through effective scheduling, logistics coordination, and on-site support where required

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

  • Engage community partners (e.g. grassroots organisations, corporates, schools) to support volunteer initiatives for seniors
  • Maintain regular communication with partners and volunteers to sustain engagement and participation
  • Identify opportunities to support partnerships that enhance volunteer involvement in eldercare programmes

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate volunteer records, attendance, and deployment data in organisational systems
  • Track and analyse volunteer participation and programme data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare reports on volunteer utilisation, engagement levels, and programme outcomes

Governance, Safety & Compliance

  • Apply organisational policies and standard operating procedures in volunteer engagement
  • Ensure volunteers are briefed on safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding requirements when supporting elderly clients
  • Support risk management practices to ensure safe and appropriate volunteer involvement in programmes

Profile

Requirement:

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline
  • Relevant experience in volunteer management, community engagement, events coordination, social services, or related areas
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills across diverse stakeholder. groups
  • Ability to interpret data and generate insights to improve volunteer engagement and programme delivery
  • Proficiency in workplace tools such as spreadsheets, databases, or volunteer management systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
