About the Role

CSV is looking for an Indonesia-based candidate to join our growing team as a Senior Associate. You will support our work by developing insights and executing solutions focused on leading the energy transition via real-world applications. This will also require you to develop and manage work plans as we help prepare you for the next stages of your career.

Profile

About You

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business development and fundraising for corporates or corporate clients, preferably with an energy background.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesia’s power market, regulations, energy transition, and industrial decarbonization.
  • A good network of clients, partners, and industry experts in power, heavy industries, and/or banking will be highly preferred.
  • Expertise in debt financing and deal structuring.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling is required.
  • Strong team player mentality with the ability to manage both teams and large transactions.
  • Proven success in client management.
  • Entrepreneurial, creative, and self-driven.

Core tasks include:

  • Managing a broad set of projects ranging from administrative tasks, origination or new business initiatives, and existing transactions.
  • Effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders (including clients, other consultants, key industry players, and regulatory bodies).
  • Preparing research and write-ups including papers, concept notes, and presentations.
  • Reviewing existing laws and regulations, industry and economic trends, and other data required to complete reports.
  • Conducting due diligence and preparation/ review of financial models, valuation, and analysis.
  • Preparing proposals, pitch decks, regular market/ legal/ regulatory updates, grant reports/ presentations, and other donor/stakeholder-facing materials.
  • Preparing and maintaining full financial models with financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows) and financial analysis.
  • Facilitating discussions with various stakeholders and clients, whether via an engagement, transaction, or regular updates.
  • Leading management of transactions and engagements.
