Role Overview
EnergyLab is seeking a highly organised and experienced Event Management Consultant
to oversee the implementation and coordination of EnergyLab’s public events in 2025. It
will include Cambodia Clean Energy Week 2025 (CEW 2025), a week-long event with
dialogues/panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, awareness-raising events,
networking, and more. CEW remains the leading platform for Clean Energy champions,
advocates, and policymakers in Cambodia to convene, share knowledge, and advance the
country’s sustainable energy future.. One additional public event will be scoped within the
first quarter of 2025.
III. Scope and Details of Assignment:
1. Event Planning and Coordination:
● Develop and execute a comprehensive event plan, including timelines, logistics,
and task assignments.
● Coordinate with event venues, vendors, and suppliers to ensure all logistical
arrangements are in place.
● Liaise with speakers, panellists, and participants to confirm schedules and
requirements.
2. Stakeholder Engagement:
● Work closely with EnergyLab’s team and key stakeholders to anticipate and
respond to their events related needs..
● Facilitate partnerships and collaborations with industry leaders, development
partners, NGOs, and academic institutions, and coordination with public sector
counterparts
3. On-Site Event Management:
● Oversee the on-site execution of event activities, ensuring smooth operations and
addressing any issues promptly.
● Coordinate registration processes, attendee management, and provide support to
speakers and participants.
4. Post-Event Activities:
● Conduct a post-event evaluation, including feedback collection and analysis.
● Prepare a comprehensive event report highlighting successes, challenges, and
recommendations for future events.
● Manage the wrap-up of all event-related activities, including financial reconciliation
and vendor payments.
IV. Outputs
1. A comprehensive event execution plan.
2. A finalised program agenda incorporating all speakers and sessions.
3. Successful implementation of quality events.
4. A post-event evaluation report.
