Duties and Responsibilities:

The role directly reports to EnergyLab’s Country Director.

Program:

  • Support the implementation and monitor the progress of EnergyLab key programs’ activities and deliverables, ensuring all donors’ requirements are met and supporting the corrective actions where required.
  • Support the design and development of new programs, including concept notes and proposal writing.
  • Ensure and guide the quality of M&E reports, to provide evidence-based information that can demonstrate results clearly, while informing strategies to increase EnergyLab program impacts.
  • Produce progress reports with quality/accuracy (including narrative and financial reports).
  • Mentor program management team in order to increase the quality and accuracy of program outputs.
  • Maintain existing relationships with current partner organizations and develop new partnerships with relevant institutions.
  • Support the Country Director’s work, including in the development of new strategic initiatives.

Operations:

  • Provide guidance and support for the effective performance of operations, finance, and admin staff.
  • Ensure overall compliance of the organization, including Cambodian labor law and regulations, MoUs with relevant ministries, donors, and internal policies.
  • Ensure and foster an effective, efficient, and safe working environment. Develop/improve internal EnergyLab policies and procedures.
  • Lead the overall operations of EnergyLab, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all departments.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and overall organizational performance.
  • Provide efficient and proactive support to the program and operations team to ensure smooth implementation of all activities.
  • Ensure that program/project financial and narrative progress reports are produced with quality and accuracy and meet the donor’s requirements.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the professional development of program and operation staff.
  • Propose and drive initiatives with the management team to improve long-term operational quality.
  • Oversee monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, fund balance, donor reports, and financial forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue generation and fundraising to support the organization's mission.
  • Maintain relationships with existing donors and respond to their requests regularly.
  • Oversee external audits.

And perform any other tasks as required.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business administration, or project management, or a related field.
  • 6 years or more work experience in operations and program (International Development/Non-Profit Organization preferred).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Excellent delegation, prioritization, people, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to ensure budgets and reporting accuracy.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, project management, communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Anticipate issues, and manage risks efficiently.
  • Native English speaker.
