Responsibilities
- Provide support to Business Development by producing technical proposal, estimated project Photovoltaic (PV) capacity and costing through technical assessment of site and drawings
- Calculate and optimise Project Cost, Energy yield and Internal Rate of Return (IRR)/Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) to secure projects
- Develop design specifications and functional requirements for projects
- Produce engineering drawings, e.g., Single line diagram and PV module layout, using computer aided drawing software
- Run simulation software to analyse the performance and estimated energy yield of Solar PV System
- Work with external contractors and consultants to optimise PV system cost and PV system design
- Perform technical review of designs, specifications and operational matters on projects and related activities, through engineering and calculations
- Conduct site surveys for feasibility studies of Solar PV system installation or on-site technical support
- Understands local regulations, standards and permitting for PV projects
