About The Job

  • Climate strategy project development and implementation, including low carbon economy transitions, GHG emissions reduction actions and plans, climate and net zero strategies, Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi), climate-related financial risks and opportunity assessment (e.g. in line with TCFD), scenario analysis, mitigation and adaptation strategies, carbon credit projects, natural climate solutions, etc.
  • Development of corporate sustainability program such as sustainability strategy, human rights due diligence process, CSR strategy, sustainable supply chain management, circular economy program, sustainable finance, etc.
  • Support in response to sustainability indices, such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (S&P CSA), CDP, Eco Vadis, etc.
  • Development of corporate sustainability reports and others in both Vietnamese and English, including writing, editing and proofreading content.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change (CSCC) consultancy services to key client accounts in ERM focus sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Food & Beverage, Bank, Chemical, Technology, Manufacturing, Retail and Finance, maintain client relations, and manage several projects under tight deadlines
  • Support training workshops for both internal and external clients in the area of CSCC services.
  • Support the general growth and development of ERM’s global CSCC services. Collaborate with Project Managers, team members, ERM global practitioners to execute projects, including participating on teams comprised of CSCC professionals from multiple offices around the global organization.
Profile

Ideal candidate:

We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with a Bachelor or Masters level degree in science, engineering or business related subjects such as Environmental Science, Political Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, MBA or related programs.

We welcome applications from professionals with at least 2 years of experience in Sustainability, Research, Economics, Politics Sciences or ESG related fields.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Powerpoint)
  • Proficiency in data analysis including collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends and provide evidence-based recommendations for sustainable practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders from various backgrounds including executives, employees, local community, regulatory bodies.
  • Demonstrates a strong team-oriented mindset and a willingness to support others.
  • Excellent English communication and writing skills
  • Ability to produce detailed and coherent written reports

Additional requirements:

  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting framework such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
  • Familiarity with climate-related topics such as TCFD, IFRS S2, Science-based targets, etc., is a plus.
  • Experience on engagement with Corporate Board of Directors and Board of Management is a plus.
