➔ Description of the mission

About the Role

  • You will support the implementation and execution of FINEXUS Group’s sustainability and CSR initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to embed sustainable practices into daily operations. This role combines structured ESG reporting, data management, and compliance work with hands-on coordination of CSR and social impact programs.
  • You will be responsible for consolidating sustainability data, supporting disclosures and audits, and coordinating engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Through disciplined execution and collaboration, you will help ensure sustainability efforts are credible, compliant, and impactful.

Mission / Expected Outcomes

  • Support the execution of FINEXUS Group’s sustainability roadmap aligned with regulatory and global ESG standards.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and auditable ESG data and sustainability disclosures.
  • Strengthen sustainability governance, reporting quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Embed sustainability awareness and practices across departments and leadership levels.
  • Deliver meaningful CSR initiatives that support communities, employees, and industry engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sustainability Roadmap & Implementation

  • Support the implementation of the Group sustainability roadmap aligned with national and global ESG goals and regulatory requirements (e.g. Securities Commission Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia).
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into operational processes.
  • Track, monitor, and report on the progress and impact of sustainability initiatives across FINEXUS Group.
  • Ensure sustainability data collected is accurate, complete, and fit for reporting and audit purposes.

2. ESG Reporting, Data Management & Compliance

  • Coordinate ESG data collection for internal management reporting and external disclosures.
  • Consolidate environmental, social, and governance metrics from relevant departments using structured data management processes.
  • Prepare sustainability reports, ESG disclosures, and submissions for regulators, group reporting, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the calculation, tracking, and reporting of Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in accordance with recognised standards (e.g. GHG Protocol).
  • Support compliance with sustainability standards and frameworks such as GRI, ISSB, SASB, TCFD, NSRF, and internal Group guidelines.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Governance Support

  • Coordinate sustainability training, awareness programmes, and internal communications to build sustainability capability across employees, Senior Management, and the Board.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, consultants, regulators, partners, and clients on sustainability matters.
  • Support materiality assessments, surveys, and stakeholder feedback processes.
  • Identify, review, and communicate sustainability risks and opportunities to the Sustainability Committee.

4. CSR Projects & Social Impact Initiatives

  • Support and manage CSR and social impact initiatives, including community programmes and employee volunteerism.
  • Identify collaboration opportunities with vendors, clients, NGOs, and industry partners to strengthen FINEXUS’ social impact.
  • Coordinate CSR programmes, initiatives, and sponsorship requests, ensuring alignment with Group values and objectives.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Chemistry, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, compliance, quality management, or programme management.
  • Practical knowledge of sustainability reporting standards and frameworks (e.g. GRI, ISSB, SASB, TCFD, NSRF).
  • Strong understanding of the GHG Protocol and emissions reporting.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently while coordinating effectively across multiple departments.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Structured, organised, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel across FINEXUS Group offices to support sustainability and audit activities.
