In this role you will:

  • Lead global campaign planning and implementation, ensuring alignment with Greenpeace’s mission and coordination with National and Regional Offices (NROs).
  • Oversee campaign activities, managing timelines, budgets, and performance goals to ensure efficiency.
  • Provide guidance to NROs on campaign design and execution, including delivering training to strengthen local teams.
  • Work with other Greenpeace programs to integrate social and economic elements into environmental initiatives, sharing best practices for enhanced effectiveness.
  • Build strategic alliances with NGOs, policymakers, and stakeholders to support campaign goals, ensuring strong partnerships and collective impact.
  • Develop and track metrics to evaluate campaign success, preparing reports to share progress and insights.
  • Engage with policymakers to advocate for campaign-aligned policies, adapting strategies based on political developments.
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts by providing campaign-related information for grant proposals and funding applications.
  • Lead campaign teams, promoting a collaborative, innovative culture and supporting the growth of junior staff.
  • Represent Greenpeace at public events to build campaign visibility and engage with media for public awareness.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing campaigns for social and environmental impact.
  • Strong project management skills such as coordinating resources, managing timelines, and adhering to goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to foster teamwork.
  • Great networking skills, with demonstrable experience in building and sustaining partnerships.
  • Agility in adapting to change and shifting priorities.
  • Experience in mentoring and supporting team members’ development.
  • Familiarity with advocacy strategies to engage policymakers.
  • Strong problem solving skills and proficiency in identifying solutions for complex issues.
  • Fluency in English, and fluency in another language is a plus.
  • Demonstrable support for and belief in the Greenpeace network core aims and values.
  • Digital literacy skills; the ability to learn and utilise our digital platforms to successfully perform the role function (familiarity with G-Suite, Slack and Zoom is an advantage)
