Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?

Overview:
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Develop new business opportunities in the entire market segments where the Company is present with direct leadership in North Vietnam activities :
+ C&I Private PPA (rooftops, car ports, floating solar…)
+ M&A for high-quality assets (solar rooftop portfolios, ready to build large-scale RE assets)
+ Energy Efficiency and UaaS business scheme
+ Battery Energy Storage Systems with private clients and State authorities
+ dPPA program contribution (offtakers' side),
+ Related IREC carbon credit certifications for the above topics
- Drive the pre-sales, sales, and after-sales process with customers, be the key person in contact for customers within the Company, with support from engineering, legal, and technical teams.
- Organize site visits and work with the Engineering team and the Construction team for commercial deals, collect necessary technical information for the preliminary proposal (electricity bills, drawings of the building, layout, financial reports, etc.), and legal documentation
- Be involved in the analysis and negotiation of contract terms, planning, and pricing with customers and contractors.
- Provide support to all internal and external communication programs carried out by the Company.
- Attend the weekly meetings and other periodical meetings if required by Management.
2. Regional Client Acquisition and Management:
- Identify and qualify potential Chinese and Taiwanese clients in the assigned region (Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines...).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their needs and proposing customized renewable energy solutions (Solar Energy, BESS, Energy Efficiency, EVCS...).
- Lead negotiations and close deals for renewable energy projects.
- Manage the entire client lifecycle, ensuring seamless communication and exceeding expectations throughout the project journey.
3. Regional market expertise:
- Conduct market research to stay updated on trends and opportunities within the Chinese and Taiwanese renewable energy sectors across the assigned region.
- Analyze competitor strategies and offerings to develop a competitive edge for the company.
- Collaborate with the team to create targeted sales and marketing strategies to attract Chinese and Taiwanese clientele.
4. Regional project facilitation and support:
- Act as a liaison between Chinese/Taiwanese clients and internal teams (engineering, installation, etc.), ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate project execution by handling communication, documentation, and logistics specific to Chinese and Taiwanese projects.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, particularly for projects in North Vietnam.
5. Travel flexibility:
- Regular travel within the region to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in trade missions (if applicable).
6. Others:
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in the renewable energy industry (Solar Energy, BESS, Energy Efficiency, EVCS).
- Potentially mentor or train colleagues on best practices for working with Chinese and Taiwanese clients.
