Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and analyze biomass feedstock (e.g., EFB, POME, wood waste, agricultural residues)
Design and optimize pyrolysis/gasification process systems
Conduct techno-economic feasibility studies and process simulations
Develop process flow diagrams (PFD), mass & energy balances
Work with vendors and EPC contractors on equipment selection and system integration
Support pilot plant trials, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with Malaysian environmental and safety regulations
Optimize outputs (e.g., syngas, biochar, bio-oil) and improve system efficiency

Profile

About the Role

We are seeking a Process Engineer with hands-on experience in biomass pyrolysis and/or gasification systems to support the development and implementation of biomass waste-to-energy projects.

This role will play a critical part in technology selection, plant design, and process optimization for converting biomass waste (e.g., palm oil residues, agricultural waste) into valuable energy products.
