About the Role:
The Assistant Manager of the Resource Development Department plays a vital role in securing donations to support Habitat for Humanity's mission of building decent and affordable housing. You will be the strategic backbone of our fundraising efforts, ensuring we achieve our yearly goals. This role offers the opportunity to champion innovative ideasand contribute to departmental growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Annual Fundraising Plans: Craft a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the year, outlining monthly and quarterly targets.
- Implementation and Oversight: Lead the execution of approved plans in collaboration with the team, including a junior executive and internal stakeholders.
- Communication and Reporting: Provide bi-weekly updates to the department manager and team members about fundraising progress.
- Innovation and Development: Brainstorm with the team and collaborate with other departments to create new engaging programs and projects to attract donors.
- Leadership and Supervision: Act as the supervisor for a junior executive and other senior executives in the absence of the department manager. Take ownership of special projects assigned by the department manager and national director.
- Regional Collaboration: Participate in regular meetings with Asia Pacific counterparts, actively engaging in regional strategic planning and execution.
