Responsibilities

• Participate in research projects involving (not limited to) buildings energy consumption monitoring and optimization, calculation of Energy Use Intensity (EUI) in buildings, and analysis on building integrated renewable energy systems, • Identify potential improvement from existing policies, e.g. Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for electricity appliances and energy consumption standards for buildings,

• Contribute to the writing and/or production of related knowledge products (i.e. research reports, policy briefs, webtools, infographics, slide decks, etc.)

Profile

Qualifications, competencies and experience

• Minimum Bachelor's in the field of engineering physics, mechanical engineering, architecture or other relevant discipline from reputable universities with 2 years experience. Master's degree or above is preferable

Minimum 2 years of working experience in buildings energy management and energy economics

• Experience in the modelling of energy demand in buildings in a plus

• Excellent understanding of climate, energy, and environmental issues

• Understanding on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), efficient lighting, smart home technology, and behavioral changes is a plus

• Experience in managing and analyzing datasets of energy statistics

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, especially Excel (including macros and pivot tables); programming skill will be an advantage

• Excellent written and oral knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia and English, including the ability to write a report/technical/briefing/policy paper

• Ability to work in an intercultural environment

• Willingness to learn and adaptability for new and relevant knowledge

• Excellent time-management skills
